Did you hear the great ball turn today?
Or be it I the only one?
The sound radiated beyond the growth
From the glass of sea into the passing wind
Could I have been the only one?
I heard it from my chair the sitting one I do
Where thoughts escape down mine hand
I do believe I was the only one
And a moment had passed between us all
Where life begat what it had once before
I think I was the only one
And soon you came after the robin
Who noted as it departed between the eyes
That he had known what you do not
That a moment had passed where the great ball turned
And I was the only one
I was the only human one
