The flowers die,

When i get to the door,

I don't know why,

I bother anymore,

The wine is crap,

It's far too cheap,

Why did i giftwrap,

A pink stuffed sheep?

I ring her doorbell,

My flies are down,

Oh bloody hell!

I'm such a clown,

Shall i just turn,

And walk away?

I'm gonna crash and burn,

Or i could pray,

Thats shes not in,

Well i hope she's not,

My head starts to spin,

My stomach's in knots,

Oh god she's there,

She opens the door,

I see here long blonde hair,

My jaw hits the floor,

I feel my cheeks,

Begin to blush,

I can't speak,

My brain is mush,

I scramble for words,

I manage a mutter,

My speech is slurred,

I stammer and stutter,

She looks confused,

By the look on my face,

She's not amused,

As i turn and race,

I run down her path,

Jump in my car,

With an awkward laugh,

I shout au revoir!

I try my best,

but my life is tragic,

Im a self confessed,

Useless romantic.
