Poem Entitled: What Do You Do

What do you do…

When you felt so powerfully;

When you felt so confused.

Then time revealed:

The other half wasn’t moved?

When the emotions were chaotic;

When senses were overwhelmed.

Then time revealed:
Your experience was yours alone?

When feelings resounded: “Love, Hope”;

When thoughts followed: “Maybe it’s true”.

Then time revealed:

The feelings were only in you?

When your Soul and Knowing

Persisted and overrode all Thinking.

Then time revealed:

The Knowing was your Imagining?

When the love you yearn to give,

You are forced to hold back;

Creating a black-hole within,

A deep chasm, a bottomless gap?

What do you do?
