Will it make her a legal hoar?
Over two decades of quiet
On a no man diet
Floating in a little bubble
Not looking for any trouble
Living with blinkers on
Merrily singing her song
Simply moving along
Not seeing anything wrong
Travelling to far and away
No reason to be and stay
Then foundations fell away
So home to mend the fray
Turned out she’d been missed
By boys she’d once kissed
Her presence burned in memory
Her perfume still lingering
First their was –vor
And he wanted forever
Then there was –ed
Who wanted to wed
They were both wealthy
And exceptionally healthy
Both loved their family
And were deliciously manly
Both left good impressions
Both desired her affections
She’d never had these attentions
And was no good at decisions
She knew she needed to choose
She didn’t want to lose
She felt her biological clock
Ominously strumming tick tock
Neither could dance it seemed
And that had been her only dream
But now it was time for reality
To flip a coin and enter matrimony
