I’m just misunderstood
But who cares what they think
They don’t have to accept me
I don’t need their opinions
I’m just different
I’m independent
Not a loner
But say what you want
It just makes me stronger
I’m oblivious
To the whispers
Give me a comment
And I won’t hear you
I’ve grown used to it all
They don’t hurt me no more
All those hateful faces
Have made me laugh at the whole
Situation
Used to be problem
I don’t care anymore
I used to be so weak
I would cry every night
Wishing I wasn’t different
Catching every eye
Making them all stare
Why the heck did I care?
Now I wave flash a smile flick my hair
It doesn’t matter
Never ever mattered
You’re the odd one
In my eyes
You can’t ignore the mean words
Make wrong into right
Correct all the lies
Stare back into their eyes
Without causing a scene
Come out with hands clean
But that’s your problem
I won’t bother
I’m independent
Not a loner

I’m a warrior
My eyes don’t water
My lip stays still
Your shock is so obvious
