If a stranger is just a friend who i've never met,
then how come my brain can not erase or forget,
Do Not Take SweetsOff Strangers.
A person, starts to talk, puppies i'm sureI heard,
but then deep inside i know that i'm scared,
Do Not Take SweetsOff Strangers.
A van pulls up and i hear my name called out,
then a memory, a voice i can hear it shout,
Do Not Take Sweets Off Strangers.
A man who is old pulls me hard,
then inside my jacket he slips a birthday card,
Do Not Take Sweets Off Strangers.
Today's my birthday, Hip Hip Hooray!
That birthday card, sure made my day,
Do Not Take Sweets Off Strangers.
I'm older now, i have kids of my own,
i love and care for them, i provide a home
Do Not Take Sweets Off Strangers.
I used to think my mum was a nark,
but now i understand that reality can be dark,
so listen please, Do Not Take Sweets Off Strangers.
