A reaction to the news my Baby told me this morning during his brief break between PT and missions.

Conflicts

by SheaRyhai © 2010

It came with the morning

the news was so eerie.

I couldn't wake enough

to face it clearly.

The beginnings of fear

are curling in my gut.

Obama's health care plan

is just another set up.

I kissed my tired soldier

who had no time to eat.

At least he has a steady job

to keep us on our feet.

But how can I afford

our governments demands.

A President so self absorbed

so quickly he offends.

I'm scribbling on this paper

but my mind is going blank.

How many Americans like me

have nothing in the bank.

Our protests and our hopes

all circling the drain.

I've said it once and will repeat

being white is just a stain.

Say goodbye to freedom boys

the monsters wants his milk.

We gave in to a tyrant

who acts without guilt.

Tell me to my face

that if my soldiers hurt in war.

The government won't help one bit

while they make our soldiers poor.

Sending billions over seas

to help the Chinese kill.

While banning abortion back at home

another choice you steal.

More babies on the street

means more health care to buy.

Watch the line of rich and poor

rocket to the sky.

And that's all you really want

you're clever I admit.

It's easier to control the poor

when your causing conflict.

Your time is counting down

don't make that will just yet

We'll take it all back from you

until there's nothing left.

I wonder who'll support you

when your pockets run dry.

You might as well retire

on a rocket in the sky.

And as for all who aided you

who stained their hands with greed.

In a civil war a bullet is

the fear on which they'll feed.
