It's My Life - Betrayal

Poetry By: Shea Ryhai
Poetry

Sometimes it's better to trust no one, seems every time I do its only so they can benefit from me and then find some small reason to become my enemy later so they can use everything I shared with them against me. Even the people I trust with so little seem unsatisfied and use what they know for their own personal gain.

It's My Life

~Betrayal~

by Shea Ryhai © 2009

*

I made my mistake when I trusted you.

You're a miserable fake, but that's nothing new.

What did you achieve pretending to be my friend.

I don't know - and I don't understand.

*

I never shared my secrets

for you to tell.

Always listened to you

as you lied to my face.

Our friendships over

I don't wish you well

This is me moving on

while your lost in place.

*

Don't tell me forever, you ran out of time.

Somethings I can't forgive, I'm sure you'll be fine.

Don't know what you wanted, but I gave to much.

It's my dreams crumbling, beneath your corrupted touch.

*

Stop screaming for attention

I muted you out.

My last patience cracking

I finally turn away.

Sorry it took so long

to see what your about.

If theres such thing as karma

then I'm sure you'll pay.

*

Keep your plastic tears I've seen through the mask.

What more could you want, I would rather not ask.

Your a twisted memory, I hope to soon forget.

In case you don't understand, I wish we never met.

*

Maybe you wanted my talent

or was it just the fame.

Resenting every success

like it was a crime.

I over valued you

so I'll take some of the blame.

But that's all I can share,

this life is mine.
