Vibrations

Poetry By: Shea Ryhai
Poetry

You can spend your whole life trying to achieve a dream, many can resent you for it, try to tear you down. As much as I try to believe in myself, I still find myself wondering if all of my attempts will amount to nothing in the end.

Vibrations

by Shea Ryhai © 2009

Vibrating colors mix and blur,

lost to chaos breaking touch.

Breathings a right I haven't earned,

restricting hands tighten and clutch.

Never knowing that ending ache,

change my heart to call me fake.

Why try to dream it's not free,

paid in blood and join the line.

Directed by others how it should be,

change to please and smile your fine.

Who I am reflects a ghost,

never being what I want most.

The music fades and Madness smiles,

hold it in before everything dies.

Live another day like a sick trial,

only fools repeat their 'whys?'

Flowers bloom once every year,

eyes were made to shed these tears.

Vibrations cease the echoes are gone,

message lost without a home.

Call me by name, call me no one,

I return to try even if alone.

But let me deceive this strange heart,

to believe that not every dream must depart.
