(The) Loner

Poetry By: Shenanigans

The rising and falling thought of a writer who discovers there's much more to being alone.

(The 'the' was added to keep the original name yet be able to publish it with a 'unique' name.)

Much more than numerous times I feel

I am of a nuisance nuisance to this world,

like the one lost piece of a puzzle;

without it all incomplete.

Like the alpha of a pack

without it all would die out.

though those times are rare,

they are short living,

yet well lived,

though every candle burns out

sooner or later

it seems I am always welcomed to either.
