Today I have been wondering
exactly how and why
you've come to mean so much to me
in such a short amount of time.
A treasure shining brightly
your worth beyond compare.
you do not even realize
and that's what makes you rare.
Your friendship is like a blanket,
it keeps me nice and warm.
your words can always comfort me;
just another one of your charms.
I think that I want to keep you
deep inside my heart
so I can feel this joy each day
and with you never part.
So now I want to thank you
from the bottom of my heart,
for being there and caring
right from the very start.
