Life's Ponderings

The trees gently swaying

like two lovers

dancing close.

The wind whispering

those secrets

that only two can share.

Snow gliding effortlessly

to the ground,

much as gracefully

as he would lay her down.

The leaves are spinning

in a frantic circle

twisting and turning

but doing it in a manner

that those in love

know well.

The stars in the night sky,

sparkling and twinkling

like the look

in their eyes.

The moon glowing brightly

shining down

Illuminating their faces

as they speak unspoken words.

Two sets of footprints

together side by side;

moving into

the night.
