Please walk softy

down this path you see before you.

Shrouded in hues of gray

with not much light shining through.

It may be foggy at times,

so thick that silence is all that you hear,

But please keep on going;

what you are seeking is so very near.

.

The dampness is clinging to you;

on this path down which you have been led.

This is nothing more than a mixture

of all the tears that have been shed.

Silent teardrops have fallen;

when there's been no one there to see.

This part may be hard to understand;

but it is a piece of the whole so just has to be.

.

As you move forward I am sure you will find;

the gray starts to lift and the path no longer winds.

The door is so much closer now;

the door I so hoped you would find.

The birds are singing and the skies now are blue

gone now are all the feelings of gloom.

The sun is shining brightly;

the flowers are all in bloom.

.

So glad that you finally made it here;

have waited for this for so long.

Many before have tried to get past this;

but their intentions were just all wrong.

For this is a place that not many will know;

it is a place that will just be a start.

What you have found as you walked down this path;

is the entrance into my heart.
