Twas the eve before Christmas and all through my house;

people were being goofy and some were quite soused.

The stockings were hung by the fireplace you know;

don't know whose they were so we filled them with snow.

The gang was all there and the evening promised to be

one to remember as we brought in the tree.

Shiner and Bruce were talking logically of course

on where it should go and quoting their source.

Foxglove came in and in her sequins looked hot

and Mike in his leathers made all the girls eyes pop.

It kept getting better as the night went along

with a group such as ours, well what could go wrong.

Attanasio came in and his famous scarf he did bring

he promised us all with his sword he would sing.

Bob dressed as Santa and we all sat on his knee

and told him our wishes and said good we would be.

Gideon and Ali were singing carols for us

singing along with them they said was a must.

We were all having fun and just clowning around

for this moment at least no worries were found.

Then out on the lawn there arose such a clatter

we all ran to the door to see what was the matter.

Dibs as it seems was putting up some lights

but slipped on the ice and gave the neighbors a fright.

We all went inside then and drinks were passed around.

toast after toast was made by the friends we had found.

Each one of us special in our own unique way

But friends all the same at the end of each day.
