"Waiting, Waiting"

I stood alone in darkness

where there were no stars;

no light to see.

Where there was no hope;

No heart to beat.

I found everything broken;

Within me; Around me.

While I stood there, waiting in the darkness

All i could feel was pain and sorrows;

All I could hear were anguished cries and laments.

I didn't want to feel, didn't want to hear;

But I couldn't run away.

I had to feel, I had to hear

For they were, a part of ME.

So I felt all the pain;

heard all the cries.

But then, after a while,

I couldn't bear it anymore.

I tried to block out;

But there was no way out.

I called someone for help,

But none came, As ever.

So, I kept standing there;

With a bleeding heart, and a shattered soul

Waiting, Waiting

For someone to come, someone to heal me...
