MY BIG FAT
Sandwiches that I make,
The real one and not fake.
All my friends are aware,
That I make sandwiches so fair.
They organized a celebratory barbeque,
Invited everyone in a straight queue.
I was the only their proud gourmet,
Rest got busy in setting up a tent.
I put on the white chef-cap,
My fat sandwiches now on tap.
Started with warming the buns,
It all starts with so much fun.
There goes the onion rings for stir-fry,
Potatoes being grilled to make it dry.
Sliced potatoes sizzling in the hot oils,
Steam boiled my pretty macaroni coils.
I could hear my friends' frantic cries.
I smiled and said, "Few minutes more",
"Enjoy yourself and hope you don't get bore."
My friends were dripping down their saliva,
I could understand their appetite and said"Viva!"
Now was time for stuffing into it,
I could see every faces were brightly lit.
Over one of the buns cheese were spread,
Then goes the grilled potatoes and not shreds.
A layer of vegetable tikka with extra sauce,
Could hear the uproaring upheaval of the chaos.
If you wish you can have chicken tikka too,
But without chicken tikka, it will do.
Over all these goes the fried onion rings,
And some sizzling hot crunchy chicken fingers.
Some marshmallow sticks will do fine,
Only coke allowed no catering of wine.
On top of these goes the simmering macaroni cheese,
This increases the appetite never to cease.
My sweet crunchy French fries go on top,
Due to the heat, at the edges, the cheese slop.
Oh! You can't resist the inciting temptation,
Your stomach whistles like a train at station.
Lastly, garnishing with some raw spring onions,
Trust me, it's all free, I won't ask any coins.
To cover it up, put the other bun over,
After all these heat and sweat, I'm off to shower.
You all savor my big fat sandwiches!!!!
