It's been several hours, the day is finally done
The sun had risen and has set and gone
The glorious moon slowly rises, its beauty enchanting
Simply looking at it simply gives you a feeling
The starry night cold, windy and chilly as ever
Sentiments continuously grow and stay forever
And as I walked into the dark and silent night
Memories came of when everything was right
We both walked alone, away from busy reality
The sky was dark, yet the weather was windy
We kept quiet as we neared a place we never knew
Yet all I could think of was your love that was so true
You held my hand, spun me around the place
Sang to me the song that put a smile on my face
Whispering a promise of love in my heart
Never doubted that time would come where we'd part
The year has passed, it's nothing more than a trace
Of what was once reality; now something misplaced
Like the fog of the night growing closer to you
Seeing only the foggy truth, but never changing what's true
Like all other parts of the day, it has to end
The darkness, despair, all have to descend
The sun will come up and give you hope you need
All disappointments and hopelessness will concede
The time will come where my misty eyes will open
To whatever things are irreplaceable and broken
Someday, I'll find out if waiting for you is worth it
Hoping that you'll tell me words that makes the puzzle fit
I know I'm looking up, with all my heart reach for the sky
By why do I feel like I should break down and cry?
Confused with the feelings I have for you
Yet have to worry about all things I have to do
Time is gold, hope you're aware of this thing
Help me make decisions whether or not to cut the string
My mind tells me you should go; my heart?to stay
Let's resolve this thing before the end of the day
