I wish I knew how you managed to do it
Caught my heart; I'm impressed, I must admit
Can't seem to get you out of my thoughts right now
Got no reason why ; don't exactly know how
Tried to hide in fear for the unbearable
Guarded my heart for the intolerable
You found a way to loosen me up a bit
And end up making all of the puzzles fit
You knew all that happened to my reality
Made me laugh, smile and had even stood by me
Taught me the lesson of finding happiness
Forgiving and letting go of bitterness
The truth is, you showed me conflicts that will be
Present in whatever's important to me
But then again, hope will dawn from anywhere
To wipe out all the hopelessness and despair
Emotions tell me never to forget you
One of the few people, faithful and true
When the time comes for goodbyes and time to part
Those memories of you will stay in my heart
The tears will come, not a single doubt at all
But my feelings for you, they won't dare to fall
Tried to give up yet my heart says it won't do
So here I say it all: Thank you and I love you
