Her energy soars
When the stars start appearing
They glisten and shine-
But closed are her blinds

Head on her pink pillow
Eyes bright with adventure
Mind darting right and left
Yet something’s bereft

Suddenly she sits
Up straight as a stick
Images flashing
How he was dashing

How could this be,
Love for a stranger?
Figment of her mind
No longer is she blind

Her first inspiration
A moment of truth
Creative juices flowing
She has to keep going

Key after key
She types with a fire
Angelina and Cory
It’s the perfect story

She cries with joy
Seeing the reason
Why she loves the night
She lives, to discover her light
