As the night sky passes by the mile
nothing seems to bother but your smile
your heart beats slow
your breaths are easy
this feeling I hate
the one you cannot escape
your eyes glance up your head on my shoulder
your hand in mine
this time kills
departure will arrive and the doors will open
lights flash on and you slowly move closer
one kiss is all but then another
lasting this moment I wish forever
you whisper I love you
then glide out the door
my eyes watch as you disappear into the night
alone I drive off slow
hate this goodbye
your present is near
but you’re not here that was made clear
my tears fall lightly
my head starts to spin
for once again I have left you behind just like the passing wind
goodbye are the hardest
I hate to leave you
wait just a while and you will once again see my bright smile
