Blinded in Chains

another war
another bunch of lies
from yet another
one who is blind

panic seeps from their words
their actions only show off
their undying selfishness
and their eternal love
for money and rewards

we're gonna die in this war
as the politicians run for safety
and the religious leaders
hide from their angry gods
because they're all to blind to see
that war ain't gonna bring peace

tied down by lies of peace
chained to the bed with deception
whipped til the money runs out
screams drown out the pleas for help
rivers of money join rivers of blood
as the rivers of peace run dry
