with bloodshot eyes
i begin to dream
locked up in here,
fire burning so strongly,
dreaming is all i have left.
i think back to before the pain
i remember laughter
i think i remember the voices of my parents
but then screams took over the laughter.
suspicion filled your mind
vulgar words dripped out of your
evil, evil mouth
i want the darkness to take me away
i want the abuse to end
i want to have real conversations
i want to be told i'm pretty
to an outsider, this may seem strange
you have a different mentality
but our thoughts are quite the same
