Chicken Noodle Soup
I have a cough
And shake with a fever
My stomach convulses
My breathing becomes more labored
Mama, I'm sick
Please fix me some
Chicken noodle soup
And if you don't mind Daddy,
Let me sleep 'til noon
My sinuses are clogged
There's pressure in my pores
My head pounds like a drum
My ears feel like they're being torn
Please, Daddy
Boil me some
Chicken noodle soup
And Mama, forget the Vicks
Let the steam through my nose
I have a broken heart
I wanna be cradled
My nose is runny
My pillows and blankets
Are soggy
Dear Mama, please get me a ladle
I need some
Chicken noodle soup
My childhood comfort food
At least my favorite devours
I won't ever lose
