I heard thunder after a dry month

Boom bang
Rolling through the sky
Crack crash
Please don't make the clouds lie
Flash-blinded
Lightning streaking with light
Wooooooo, Eeeeeeee
Hear the wind
Picking up, whistling by
Shine! Bright!
No Sun, go to sleep
Rainbows are pretty
But a storm that's meek
Is not going to help anything
Our crops are dying
And buzzards are flying
With bellies full
With dead carcasses
And the soil rough and dull
I hear thunder
In the late afternoon sky
I see birds fly
Take shelter, little sparrows
The clouds are going to cry!
