A Page Apart

My life is an endless book
That no one cares to read
It tells tales of horrible things
Of how you heal and bleed
My book tells of adventurous things
Intense from end to start
But every time I look at it
We're always a page apart
My book tells of beautiful things
Like the death and love
My book tells of wonderful things
More below than above
Sometimes I skip a few lines
Although sometimes it may not be smart
Because every time I skip a line
We're always a page apart
Sometimes I leave pages blank
Because I feel nothing inside
Sometimes thoughts go from page to page
Sometimes they just hide
Someday in the future
When we open our hearts
We will be together but until then
We'll always be a page apart
