My Invisible Scars
Smile like there's nothing wrong
Same old pain, same old song
The years go by, my life is long
Still the scars keep growing
I hide them well, while bearing weight
I can't run, and I can't avoid this fate
Invisible scars that you'll never see
The far away cuts from history
Yet I can't forget the past
So I keep smiling
I'll keep pretending everything's ok.
Because when things go wrong
I can still rely on my blade
Making scars that you'll never see
My little secret, only for me
To the rest of the world they will never know
They will never find out, I'm all alone
For my only cross to bear is the blade I cannot put down
There will always be new scars
A smile, a cut, blood shed tears
My Invisible scars
