Father it has been awhile since we last talked

I know I neglect you

As you know I am a bit atheistic

Maybe even spiritual every now and then

But that is no excuse
For my absence

Forgive me Father for I know not
See, I do wrong everyday

Girls tell me they love me

That I am amazing

But what they do not know

Is that each one of them is just another on my list
That I am just playing a game

Deceiving them some could say
I feel bad, yes, but their " I love yous'"

Compliments, tender touches,

And company

Would be hard to do without

Forgive me Father for they know not

And I neglect to tell them about each other

Father all I want is honesty

But how can I receive it, when

I FAIL TO GIVE IT

Father the weight of all my transgressions

Is great

And rests not only on my shoulders

But also on those who choose to deal with me

Forgive me father for I am a burden

Forgive me father for I am a hypocrite
I am another Judas

I know that once they know about each other
I will have betrayed their trust

Given them a Judas kiss

Forgive me Father for their betrayal is coming

Father this started as a way for me to feel good about myself

All this new attention from random people

Telling me how special I am

How

Attractive I am

How

Stupid she was to have hurt me

How

Great I am

But I am not great and she was not stupid

She hurt me, yes, and that changed me

Maybe in some ways not for better

But for worse

Forgive me Father for I still resent her

And I failed to learn my lesson

Forgive me Father for I am human

Father all I want is honesty

But how can I receive it

When I fail to give it

Forgive me Father for I know not
