A wonderful and moving poem Snow, good word choice and a wonderful if painful images.
Sometimes the "insular" time makes the real life more bearable with its pain and seperation. Even with clouds the sun reappears. Even dark winter gives way to spring.
I wish you peace and better times

A very good poem I like it a lot.....
I live by a river and love nothing better than to walk along the banks marvelling at how peaceful it all is just the lap of the water and the sound of swans and ducks........
Loved walking along the banks with my love as well now I walk with my little girl and she loves it
Another fantastic write
