Messed Up!
 
Why does it hurt so bad?
Why am I in pain?
Why do I feel so sad?
From love I have nothing to gain
 
I think that life is not for me
It hurts me too much
Suicide is my answer
Who will miss me when I’m gone?
 
I’m not feeling sorry for myself
It’s just the way things are
Dead inside, numb from hurt
I want the hurt to stop
 
One less person for you to bitch abot
One less topic for gossip
One more ‘friend’ to mourn
One more topic for gossip
 
Why did she do that?
Why did she wear that?
Why did she do her hair like that?
Why do I even care?
 
I drive along and the river is high
So easy to crash into and die
I’d be dead by the time they pulled me out
The open car windows would ensure that
 
I’m sorry to the ducks for causing them a flap
I’m sorry to the swans as well
I’m sorry I messed up your life
And I’m sorry I messed up mine.

Sad day, still, 'things can only get better' I hope. Good to write about it and get it out into the open and then you'll realise you're not alone, we all have them.

Organisms huh? That is all we are, flesh and bone. Maybe not, there is depth to us, mind, spirit and so on. Stay strong my friend. There is nothing we cannot get through once we know and believe in ourselves.

These wild emotions of depressiion and loneliness are difficult to handle at times. As writers and poets, we must be thankful that we are able to express our thoughts on paper to share. We just need to get through these momentary lapses of despair. I try and focus others... friends, neighbors, etc. that may be in need of my encouragement and help. I'm happy to see you sharing and that you are now feeling better. Keep reaching for the stars, Snow..... there are others our there that need you.....Jerry

A really horrible way to feel, I have been there myself. Am taking it one day at a time. It is the only way I find I can cope with my life.
