No More Challenges For Me!

I took Lionheart’s challenge hoping for easy words

I should have checked more closely

A word like Miscellaneous

To get a rhyme is most zanyous!

I tried to think what my Comrade at work would think

And I know he would tell me that my rhymes really stink

I do agree with him you know

But hey I’m old and I’ve got a sore toe!

1’m satin (ha!) my chair trying to come up with a funny line

But the level of my intelligence is equal to nine!!

At this age I can be philosophic

In the hope of a better topic

Next time...............

Oh No there won’t be another

I promise you this Brother

My rhyming so bad it makes me sad

But to give you a giggle would make me glad!
