Rodney The Tiger!

Rodney the Tiger!

I have a little pet tiger

And Rodney is his name

I take him everywhere I go

And we play a little game

Hide he says and I will seek

I tell him, you’d better not peek

He is a naughty tiger

Because he does tend to cheat

His nose he uses to sniff me out

But I guess I do the same

He smells a bit does Rodney

But it’s fun to play our game

I took him on my holiday

To the beach he went with me

What a really naughty tiger

He jumped right in the sea

Rodney got all wet and cold

Because he did not do as he was told

Mum put him in the wash machine

And he came out all nice and clean

He promised me that he’d behave

If I took him out again

I took him to the railway station

And he jumped upon a train

I got a postcard yesterday

Rodney is having fun

He’s sat upon a beach in LA

Getting tanned in the sun

Come home Rodney I miss you

My cat sat on the mat

Please come home and make me happy

Your friend, the little brat!

There was a knock upon my door

And there stood Rodney, my friend

He said he really missed me

And came home in the end!
