Strength Through Contact

The need for contact

However brief

The time we share

Stolen like a thief

A thief in the night

You steal into my dream

You make everything feel right

No matter how bad they seem

No matter how bad the argument

No matter how scary the fight

I close my eyes and see you

And know I can cope alright

You share yourself unreservedly

Your strength you give to me

You help me through

A way out you let me see

You give me such strength

To see this through

All because of the love

I get from you

sorry you couldn't read it first time. had a bit of bother seeing it myself. it was in a 4 line verse to start with but changed to this format when i amended the font size. oh to be more technically minded!!

A wonderful poem yet again Snow.......

We all need a rock to cling to when the storms blow in. Even when its calm a bit of contact with a lover makes you feel secure and safe.

It hurts so bad to just have a few stolen moments. The longing is unbearable. I liked this poem quite a bit. It reminded me of a time of my life that is now past, but it was breathtaking while it was there.
