Rodney The Tiger (Part 2)

Rodney ran away again

He really caused a fuss

I took him out shopping

And he got right on a bus

A postcard came yesterday

He’s having so much fun

He is now in Fiji

Sitting in the sun

Where are you now Dear Rodney

I do miss you at this time

The telephone started ringing

And there’s a miaow on the line

He phoned to say he loves me

But he can’t come home just yet

He’s locked up in a prison cell

For cat fighting in Tibet

He is a silly tiger

He went skiing at lake Garda

He tried to ski uphill

And found it so much harda! (Sorry!)

He broke his paw while skiing

At last he’s coming home

He needs to rest that sore paw

And someone to hear him moan!

Rodney says tata for now

He needs some time to heal

But he will soon go wandering

And his adventures will be real!

Snow! I love this one even more than the first one. I'm completely serious, you should write a children's poetry book. This was so funny! Loved the "harda". The voice of this poem was so playful. I love it! Did I say that already? Lol.

Snowbelle this one is even better than the first. I can picture Rodney in a cell in Tibet, that made me laugh so much i nearly got into trouble at work. Really looking forward to his next adventure.
