Love Me in Springtime

Poetry By: SolaWolf

This poem doesn't rhyme (though they don't always have to) It starts out where the person thinks they cannot be without the other person, but as it moves along they start to realize they need to move on, and let love in. If it's not meant to be, it's not meant to be.

Long have I had the chace to gaze into your eyes
Only yesterday it seems you were mine.
Very few have gotten a second glance from me as I still long for you.
Even though I try to move on, your memories haunt me.

Maybe we shall meet again
Expressing to each other how we were wrong

I miss the warm sun on my shoulders as we walk through the trees
Never would I think you to have left me like this.

Sometimes I find myself asking the questions, why?
Perhaps we were not meant to be
Remembering the sweet sound of your voice
It seems our love, like the seasons, are ever changing
Now I find that in your absence, I cannot hold on.
Great memories were shared between you and I
Time will not stand still for me in those memories
If we are meant to be, then please, make haste to my arms
My heart will not wait any longer
Enjoy the times we had, but like the seasons change, I have gone.
