It is dark in the shadows of the trees, I feel the coldness of the wind

I feel my body burning, the itching beneath my skin.

My gums are bleeding, as my mind is going blank.

Peeling, bristling, pain, to my knees I sank.

Agony runs through my core, my heart begins to pound

Senses higtened: Sight, Smell, and Sound.

My eyes glow in this nightmare, the moon glows on my back.

Claws extended, jaw snarling, I'm ready to attack.

Fully formed, this transformation wins over me.

This, my curse, my life...lycanthropy.
