OUR MISERIES

life is like a story

that shapes us

and makes us

that guides us into a future

that no one could ever picture

it takes us on a journey

of mystery and wonder

that leads us to revisit our pasts unfortunate blunders

life is like a painful memory

that binds us

and holds us behind

it takes from us what we treasures most

and feeds off of us as if we were some kind of host

it leaves us with nothing but an empty shell

with only hidden secrets to tell

life is like nothing we've ever seen

its something that cannot be predicted or foreseen

its full of lies and mystery’s

that seem to only tell an unfortunate history

its something we wish to hide

to bury away deep inside

so no one could ever see our detestable miseries
