Escaping Reality-Zombies-SOSNH Poetry

Poetry By: sosnh

Being in a Zombie Apocalypse will do things to you that can challenge your mentality, and how you observe things. Don't forget about the dangers within.
Do not read if you are faint hearted, though I don't personally think it's that bad.

It all started with a bang,

Everything went down,

Everything went blank,

Life became dull,

So dull in fact,

That suicide soared drastically,

People died,

People would fight,

Death would be a common occurance,

Children would grow distant,

Turning to the creatures of the night,

Who welcome them with open arms instead,

And just as quickly,

Razor sharp teeth rip open the skin,

Blood rushes out, wearing the child weak,

Life fades away,

And down goes the day,

Where a person's fate is sealed.

Thunderous condemnation to those who still live,

Heads, Tails, Demon's within,

Life is but a gamble,

In this ever-changing world,

Monsters, Demons of sight,

Killers of prey,

Victims to the humans,

Savage beasts with a hidden agenda,

Beware, my friends,

Of a distant, angry citizen,

Living in Zombie heaven.

Goodbye, all sanity,

For you escape me,

And all of reality,

You fade away into the distance,

Flickering like licorishe,

And bury yourself beneath the ground,

In mud, flies & blood all around.

Death shall follow,

Turning into a hollow future for all.
