POEM OF MYSELF

 

I. “FOR YOU AND ME”

 

I am sick and cannot be healed

I am in love but it’ll never be revealed

So I am condemned to hold it deep side

I’m just too ugly; it is not matter of pride

 

I am bleeding; there is no help for me

Longing for your touch, your eyes just once to see

Distance between us makes everything impossible

Distance is that guilty, for everything responsible

 

I stand in front of a mirror and start to cry

Because I see there is not even hope to try

This ugliness is cutting within so so deep

Lying all my tiny faith to eternal sleep

 

Wish I could get rid of this bottomless pain

This emptiness I’m trying to contend in vain

Crying loud out my voice

I’m not guilty; it’s my heart’s choice

 

Looking in your sparking eyes

I am shivering, all within dies

Give me a sign to make belief

Have mercy, gift me relief

 

Here, in my deathbed, I must confess

I draw the line, feelings can’t oppress

This is my last endeavour to say I LOVE YOU

Bleeding there alone I wish here only you, only you

II. “MOTHER”

 

Yearning to see once again your face

Hear your pretty smile, endless grace

Only you knew to banish all my fears

Only you knew to stop all my tears

 

For 8 years I am living with pain every single day

I don’t believe in your God, I have no strength to pray

I still remember of the child so smiled and gay

All that remained of my light today is a ray

 

In the end I beg you for forgiveness

 

 

III. “THE LAST HEARTBEAT OF MINE”

 

This is poem for you my dying weakened heartbeat

As the first snow slow falls I long to feel your body’s heat

I save all memories; I die, happy that you were mine

My thoughts give up, the beat betrays me, I draw the line

 

Sleep my heart, sleep tight

Dream forever, dream in embrace of eternal light

Bleeding the love, sparkling bright

In the end, know, loving you I am doing right

 

Now, my frozen heart, rest in peace

It is time to take a leave, all sorrow to cease

Sleep calm, give up to Oblivion’s nest

My last heartbeat, I wish you sweet rest
