Anger Inside

Anger.

Such a strong feeling.

A five-letter word.

Two vowels, three consonants.

It comes suddenly.

like a unexpected tragedy.

It comes strongly.

and like the heart of burning flames, hotly.

It can kill.

It can harm.

It can hurt.

It can alarm.

No one understands

No one truly knows why

But, anger?

Yes, anger. Anger can be sweet.

Oh, so, sweet.

Shouting.

Hitting.

Screaming.

Accusing.

Anger?

Yes, anger. Anger can be bitter.

Oh, so, bitter.

Denial.

Pain.

Realization. Sputtering out.

Run out of words.

System cleared.

Angry?

I was angry?

Why?

What made me snap?

I did what?

I said what?

Surely i did nothing of the kind...

Whatever.

What was that you say?

No. Never.

* * * * *

Hey

I'm Sorry.
