Obese Love

Poetry By: Sowers123

A cute, funny poem about an overweight woman being in love with a man she hopes to get when she's skinny enough.

Would you just be quiet?

So what, I'm on a diet!

I exercise day by day,

And never let my diet sway!

I'm a little overweight,

My fat is what I hate

I'm pretty in the face,

Now to put my body in place.

Pant and Sweat, Pant And Sweat,

That's what my fat has met.

Soon I'll be perfectly slim,

Then I can have him.

Looking in the mirror on my wall,

I think, "What if I could have it all?"

When I'm skinny I'll have fame,

Say goodbye to Mrs. Lame!

The doorbell rang,

And the birds sang!

I opened the door,

To see what I had in store.

I smiled a great smile,

I hadn't seen him in a while.

He handed me my mail,

As my heart began to sail.

I closed the door,

And fell to the floor.

My heart began to flutter,

I couldn't think, my mind was in a clutter.

I'll do my best to lose this weight,

And then i'll catch him before it's too late!
