We have walked
Side by side
Hand in hand
We have loved
The hardships
And the joy
We have cried
In despair
And relief
We have given
Ourselves
To each other

A short poem about all the contrasts and opposites that come with a steady relationship.
There is a fifth stanza too, which offers an alternative ending, but I choose to publish it without that for now, and rather add it later.
