What is it, love,

but a gift from above,

all drenched and dangling with pearls?

It outlives death,

it's softer than breath,

and kills all that live in this world.

An embrace and a kiss,

is surely missed

after one's love has passed away.

But what is life

but sadness and strife

forever moolight and never a day?

Creatures of flesh

with soulds to mesh

adorned with satin and lace,

Tea and sin,

us women and men,

devils tongue and angel's face.
