A Bloody Life

I'm talking about a hard life

A bloody thumb.
Oh how dumb.
A puffy blister.
How did that fester?

Been hanging out with grief.
Pain grinds the teeth.
Peace taken away like a thief,
I need to turn over a new leaf.

I'll be very brief
Don't pull out the handkerchief.
Just listen.
And see the red pain glisten.

I'm going to do something grand.
My hopes will not get trampled in the sand.
On for feet cats land,
And I won't deviate from my plan.
