Fall and Winter

Poetry By: Staplink

Fall and winter is like the process of dying. But spring and summer always follows. That't the good news

I look outside and it looks like trees are dying

With the ground so parched it's crying

For the icy cold deadly winter perception

But by that time everything is in dead quiet hibernation

The lively summer hot has abandoned us for the other pole

So for the next six months we have to dwell in a frozen fishbowl

So gear up cuz it's like Narnia with the White Witch

It's not the time to walk out without a stitch

I hope the roads aren't iced over

It will be a while before seeing a four-leafed clover

So cold o can see my breath

I look around and all I see is death

But resurrection is in twenty-four weeks

It won't always be so bleak

Oh, and God, please don't let it snow

It makes transportation really slow
