My Beautiful Muse (original)

Poetry By: stonedwizardx6x

I edited the first one... but it seemed too short and lost the impact the first one had. While the flow is off because of some uneven syllable counts, I still think the original was better. So here is the original. Enjoy! -Stonedwizardx6x

My beautiful Muse • Oh how I'd love to abuse
You gently and sweetly • Taking my time - making you mine
Soft skin - Beautiful smile • Yearning to make you mine for a while
Eyes like emeralds beautifully glow • Almost as beautiful as your soul
Lighthearted - a joy to behold • I'd give anything just to hold
Your hand or your heart • I'm afraid that I'm falling apart
My heart has been stolen • I want you to know what you're holding
Your laughter always brightens my day • In my heart you'll stay
Gripping me softly - my bright summer day • Heating my heart when warmth's gone away
You cut through my gloom • joy is your perfume
You flood all my senses • you destroy my defenses
It's senseless to feel this • But your beauty's relentless
Inside and out - you are perfection • For which there is no protection
I've shielded my heart • but you smashed it apart
Relentlessly beautiful • You are the arrow stuck in my heart
