Baby, you've been away out there
tell us what you brought back home to share
while touching the edge of the universe
and putting silver and gold stardust in your purse.
Did you drink from the big and little dippers
try on Virgo's dress or fit in Gemini's slippers
You couldn't pass those galactic space yard sales
without weighing everything in Libra's scales.
Up and at them before the break of morn
buying Christmas presents around Capricorn
Shooting one of Sagittarius's arrows through hell
striking a few notes on one of Satan's bells
and then taking a ride on the very back of Leo
to seventh heaven you let Saint Peter know.
Baby, you've been a fairy dancer
catching stars and dodging in and out of Cancer
flying so fast you split Saturn's rings
escaping Scorpio you suffered through the stings
Fighting valiantly with furies around Taurus the bull
like lightening within Aries you felt the Earth's pull.
One last stop to splash down beneath the seas
out of double trouble you blast away from Pisces
in a ship made to order and carry all of your stuff
you're on your way back home my sweet Aquarius.
Baby, you've been away out there...
