I felt a tremor beneath my feet
I thought it was my stomach rumbling
It shook the leaves on the trees
right before I went to stumbling.
Laying in bed and sound asleep
till we woke up on the floor
Everyone in the house will weep
as the earth does shake once more.
Big ole Earthquake shake us down
and split our souls from sky to ground
Wiggle us jiggle us heart and mind
our bodies lost a little weight this time.
Kids hang on for dear life
but there's no deers around
So I'll just grab for my wife
as in the dark I've found.
We are bouncing on our beds
as the windows crack
Watch out cover up our heads
counting tremors don't lost track.
Big ole Earthquake shake us down
and split our souls from sky to ground
Wiggle us jiggle us heart and mind
our bodies lost a little weight this time.
I felt a tremor beneath my feet
I thought it was my stomach rumbling
It shook the leaves on the trees
right before I went to stumbling.
