Spring done a rain dance in the yard

The rain came down and it came down hard

Summer beat on the drums for his brother Spring

Say don't you know he melts cold ice cream

Fall got as drunk as a wild indian

War painted the trees without anyones opinion

Winter came in and saw her brother Fall

Say she hit him with a cold snow ball

Father Time lost his life when he lost his minutes

To Baby New Year who had to end it

The Seasons are all sad for their Father Time

Say don't you know that he can't rewind

Confusion and disorder

With their minds on the border

What can they do, what can they say

Confusion and disorder

With their minds on the border

Tis so sad Father Time passed away
