Does anybody use them anymore?
Down by the river an old wash board,
or a Maytag wringer washing machine;
or a Singer to sew something to be seen?
Does anybody use them anymore?
Mom's nail polish on a chigger sore,
or Dad's paddle on the backside;
or sissy saddle when they take a ride?
Rachel asked her mother,
who said go ask your brother.
Well he doesn't know, so I'll ask Dad.
He says please don't smother
him with these questions, ask another.
Rachel asks was these questions all that bad?
Does anybody use them anymore?
I feel like kicking them out the door,
and buying a set of encyclopedias;
and who's got the answers when family never does?
Does anybody use them anymore?
the library to find what they're looking for,
and the bookstore down the street;
and the laptop right here at my feet.
Rachel asked her mother,
who said go ask your brother.
Well he doesn't know, so I'll ask Dad.
He says please don't smother
him with these questions, ask another.
Rachel asks was these questions all that bad?
