I've went way beyond the call of duty
and I've walked that extra mile
just to see you all cry mutiny
with a sly and evil smile.
I've put up one hell of a fight
and I've kept on an even keel
just to see the darkness of another night
and the cold way you all make me feel
I've been forced upon your wooden plank
to become a snack food for the shark
so my final word is take this to the bank
feel the heat of this sword so very sharp
I can't bleed any more you see
I can't cry another tear in the sea
that I've filled from my heart and soul
so where now will my mind and body flow
In the water, from my blood, sweat and tears
while you all make merry and laugh at me
my life is flashing through all the years
as I drown in the blues here on my knees
I've learned how to swim with the fish
and keep my head just above the water
but no matter how hard I pray and wish
somebody else has went and caught her
I've been forced upon your wooden plank
to become a snack food for the shark
so my final word is take this to the bank
feel the heat of this sword so very sharp
I can't bleed any more you see
I can't cry another tear in the sea
that I've filled from my heart and soul
so where now will my mind and body flow
For I've went way beyond the call of duty...
